Looks like Ebola has relocated to the US. A health worker who helped in the treatment of Liberian man, Thomas Eric Duncan, who died on Wednesday October 8th, at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, has contracted the disease.

Dallas state health officials released a statement today revealing the first case of Ebola transmission in the US

"We knew a second case could be a reality, and we’ve been preparing for this possibility. We are broadening our team in Dallas and working with extreme diligence to prevent further spread.” Texas health commissioner. Dr. David Lakey said
The worker has been isolated since Friday night October 10th but his/her identity has not disclosed.

Rihanna Embarassed By Ebola Screening, Ordered to walk through Airport Security Scanner FIVE times

I'm finding it hard to believe that a superstar in the frame and shape of Rihanna has found it reasonably tough to get through airport security, I'm not even surprised she's been subjected to Ebola screening.
..
According to MailOnline, it appears that isn't necessarily the case. The 26-year-old star had trouble going through airport security as she took a flight out of Miami on Thursday. She had arrived for the flight a bit too blinged out and had struggled as she had to remove articles of jewelry and clothing

EBOLA UPDATE: US Airport, JFK commence screenings; four more airports start next week

Health screenings to help prevent the spread of Ebola began Saturday for some travelers to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport but an official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned that nothing can "get the risk to zero."
Four other airports will add the screenings next Thursday, according to the CDC.
This won't be a mass event, with long lines of travelers waiting for screening. Only about 150 travelers a day will receive the screenings, CDC officials said.
"No matter how many of these procedures are put into place, we can't get the risk to zero," Dr. Martin Cetron, director of the CDC's Division of Global Migration and Quarantine, told reporters Saturday.
"That will not be the case but this additional layer should add a measure of security to the American public. This entry screening procedure, for example, would not necessarily have caught the patient in Dallas."
Cetron was referring to the only case of Ebola so far diagnosed on U.S. soil -- that of Thomas Eric Duncan, who didn't have symptoms at the time he arrived in the United States.
